Five squares connected by arrows that list the components of the Count ME In Model

Since 2013, Count ME In has worked to identify the critical attributes that lead to effective attendance practices. Our comprehensive, researched-based model uses real-time data to monitor all absences, emphasizes academic impact, and utilizes community-based, positive strategies. We value a continuous improvement process and continue to adjust and refine.

Through our technical support and consultation, schools improve engagement, promote a culture of attendance, build effective intervention teams, monitor data, revise practices and protocol, implement interventions, and collaborate with community partners. These steps lead to shifts in a school's climate and culture, which when implemented with fidelity, leads to system changes that reduce a school's chronic absenteeism rates approximately 20%.
